Part 4: Stairwell Chainsaw Massacre This is a recording of our L4D2 (PC) expert run through of Deadly Dispatch by CaptainWinky. The custom campaign can be found here: www.l4dmaps.com One thing I neglected to mention in the other videos is that if you find a chainsaw anywhere in the campaign, CARRY IT TO THE FINALE AND DON'T USE ANY OF ITS FUEL. You WILL need it to get up a flight of stairs while pushing through infinite waves of common infected, or the tank(s) will catch up to you/you will get overrun. Note: If you don't have a chainsaw at the start of the finale and can't find one lying around before you start the event, I'm told that an M60 can help you mow the zombies down almost as effectively; I've always seen at least one M60 lying around in the finale area. Check around for supplies before you call the radio. Many times there is no ammo pile or at least no ammo pile in a useful location so you will have to pick up new guns or replenish ammo from the same gun model you find lying around. Luckily guns are spread around the area pretty evenly. Try to move any gas cans you find to the area between the small structure at the beginning of the level and the giant shelves. We found that the safeset place to hold for the first attack is the cargo lift up the stairs from the radio and down the hallway. You should be able to kill all the infected from a distance and the special infected usually stand in dumb places or climb up right beside the lift giving you easy target ...
